Meet Annie! This sweet girl was rescued on Christmas Eve along with several other cats. Shortly after, she was diagnosed with the life-threatening disease, Panleukopenia. After several weeks of treatment, Annie has fully recovered and is now healthy and ready to enjoy life like any other kitty! She no longer requires any special diet or medication, and since she has recovered from Panleukopenia, it's extremely unlikely that she will ever catch it again.
Annie is a playful and energetic kitty who is always ready for fun! She’s in that stage of life where playtime is her number one priority, and she’d love a family that’s ready to match her energy. While she enjoys cuddles every now and then, she’s much more into chasing toys and exploring her environment.
Annie would do well in a home with another cat who shares her playful nature, such as her foster sister, Ginger, but she could also thrive as the only cat as long as she gets the attention she needs. Since Annie has had to be quarantined during her foster stay so far, it isn't 100% known how good she will be with dogs. She has seen her foster mom's small dog briefly through the door and didn't seem to mind him.
Annie still needs to get spayed and receive her booster vaccine, but should be ready for her forever home by April! If you’re looking for a bubbly, friendly kitty who will keep you on your toes with her playful antics, Annie might just be the perfect fit for you!
