🌸 Meet Lil Missie – The Miracle Kitty Looking for Her Forever Home! 🌸

Lil Missie may look like any other pretty kitty, but she’s been through an incredible journey! Found as a stray kitten, it quickly became clear that something wasn’t right. After tests, Missie was suspected to have Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a once-fatal disease in cats. Thankfully, her first caregiver managed to get her into a life-saving FIP trial at the University of Saskatchewan.

While Missie fought through treatment, her caregiver faced their own battle with terminal illness. They made the compassionate choice to place Missie with SOS Prairie Rescue, where she could complete her recovery and have a chance for a brighter future. After months of treatment and determination, Missie was finally declared CURED of FIP! 🎉

Now 2.5 years old, Missie is healthy, spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and snap-tested negative for FIV/FeLV. This girl has a clean bill of health and a big heart ready to share with the right family!

💖 About Missie: Missie is a silly, active, and playful little lady who likes cuddling on her own terms. She’s fantastic with other cats, unbothered by household dogs, and tolerates kids—especially if they want to play with her! Plus, she’s quite the chatterbox and has a big appetite, making mealtime fun and lively.

Missie has been waiting patiently for her forever home. Could it be with you? 🏠
