Kelly is a very sweet and cuddly kitty - she likes to be held like a baby and will flop over your arm and expose her very soft tummy for you to pet. She also likes to sit on your shoulder like a parrot. She is a gorgeous tortoiseshell with orange striped sections on her legs - everyone who meets her remarks that she is a very pretty and uniquely coloured cat. A previous foster noted that she can be a bit shy but she is quite confident at my house and does not run away or hide when visitors come - including boisterous and loud toddlers who love to chase her. She slowly approaches new people but once they talk to her and seem nice, she is very quick to purr and rub up against them (including the toddlers!). Kelly is playful and loves to bat toys around. She lived with other cats in the previous foster home and would probably benefit from the stimulation of a house with other cats or kids to play with. Dogs are unknown.

Kelly is gentle when she plays with you and is easy to handle. She doesn't resort to using her claws or teeth to communicate, which I greatly appreciate!

Very clean and consistent with her litterbox - no accidents. Uses a cardboard scratcher to scratch and has not bothered my furniture or rugs.
