Adoption fees & kitten pairs policy
Saskatchewan adoption fees: $275 for one cat · $500 total for two adopted together.
Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs unless SOS approves a suitable young, social and playful cat already in your home. An older resident cat does not automatically meet this requirement. SOS assesses each placement individually.
Adopting through a partner outside Saskatchewan? Fees may differ. Please confirm with the adoption location before applying or paying.

Applications are reviewed based on fit, lifestyle, and the needs of each individual cat. Approval is not first come, first served.
Please apply only if you are ready to move forward within a reasonable timeframe once approved.

Adoption fees help cover a fraction of the medical care and support each cat receives before going home.
Timelines may vary while cats are still completing medical care or awaiting spay/neuter.
If the cat you applied for is not the right fit or unavailable, your application may still be considered for another.
Our work is powered by volunteers and supported by a small operational team. We are a foster-based rescue, and response times may vary depending on volume and volunteer availability.
