SOS Storage Rescue: The Great Clean-Up

It’s time to rescue the rescue’s storage space. And folks, it’s going to take a village. π
We’ve been incredibly fortunate to have access to storage space for our supplies, but over time, it’s become a bit of a dumping ground. Somewhere in there are perfectly useful supplies, things we no longer need, items that could find new homes through a garage sale or donation, and probably a few things that should’ve gone to the dump a long time ago.
Our core team is stretched pretty thin, and this is one of those jobs that’s simply too big to tackle with the hands we have available.
We’re looking for organizers, sorters, movers, heavy lifters, and anyone who enjoys turning chaos into something functional. Whether you’re great at deciding what stays and what goes, or you’re happy to haul things up and down stairs, we have a job for you!
The mission? Sort, organize, purge, rearrange, and hopefully reclaim a space that actually works for us. The more hands we have, the faster we can get it done.
A few things to know:
- π Saturday, November 14, starting at 10 AM
- π SOS storage location, 105 Melville Street, Saskatoon
- π Access via Lorne Avenue ONLY. Melville Street access is closed.
- π Wear comfortable clothes and footwear you don’t mind getting dirty.
- π§ Bring water, some energy, and your best let’s get ‘er done attitude.
- π‘οΈ The space is mostly heated, but dress in layers.
- πͺ Stair use is required for this opportunity.
- π No cat handling involved. Just a whole lot of stuff!
You don’t need rescue experience. Just a willingness to pitch in and help us bring some order back to the chaos.
Many hands make light work, and we’d love to see just how much we can accomplish together.
