Artemis came to SOS Prairie Rescue through our friends at Canine Action Project after being surrendered for a chance at a safer future. Tragically, all of Artemis’s siblings were killed by roaming dogs, leaving this resilient little girl as the sole survivor of her litter.

Despite such a heartbreaking beginning, Artemis has never let it dim her joyful spirit.

She is an absolute bundle of love who cannot wait to find her forever family.

Artemis is the definition of a Velcro cat—she wants to be involved in absolutely everything you’re doing. Whether she’s launching herself into your arms for a cuddle, hitching a ride on your shoulders while you wander the house, or supervising your daily tasks, this little girl believes life is best experienced together.

She’s an energetic, playful kitten with the heart of an acrobat. You’ll often find her chasing her favourite ball, scaling the tallest cat tree she can find, or exploring every nook and cranny with endless curiosity.

When Artemis wants your attention (which is often!), she’ll happily chat away until you notice her, rewarding you with a thunderous purr the moment you do. She has a huge personality packed into one tiny kitten.

Artemis would thrive in a home where her people are around often to enjoy plenty of playtime, cuddles, shoulder rides, and all the love she has to give.

Artemis will be recovering from surgery and will be ready to head to her forever home once she has healed. We are accepting applications now for the family lucky enough to call this extraordinary little survivor their own.
