On first glance, you may look at buddy and think he is a confident cat but that is not the right description for our plush panther. Describing him as the cowardly lion from the Wizard of Oz would be more accurate. Like the lion, he is just a softie! Buddy is looking for home where he can feel safe and comfortable to find his confidence.

What does safety and comfort look like for Buddy you may ask? Welll... Buddy scares easily from loud noises. So for starters, he believes the quieter the vacuum the better. Loud doorbells, blow dryers, and noisy house guests are all far from things he would enjoy. These things would likely send him hiding. If he is sent hiding, he may stay there for a while. Does calm and quiet describes your home? Have you been searching for a quiet companion that gives you a reason to stay home and enjoy a good book instead of being out of the house? If yes, Buddy may be the perfect match for you! He says no thanks to outdoor life. A calm household where he can be spoiled sounds like perfection to him. He would love to sit with you, cuddle, and enjoy calming relaxation. Keep him comfortable and he will loaf or flop and show you how adorable his tummy is. We have photo evidence that he does indeed have an adorable tummy to reward you with.

Buddy's idea of being spoiled consists of a wet food diet. You can offer him kibble but he much prefers wet. Why settle for less than what you deserve is his motto. So far, Friskie's Pate and Chef's Dinner are his favorites but he is open to seeing if there is something else he likes more. Perhaps a taste test of all the wet food varieties so he can rank them from best to worst. That would be the perfect night in for him. Imagine it now, our little food critic Buddy with a chefs hat! So cute.

Other cats are a bit of an uncertainty for Buddy. He is very timid of them and can feel threatened easily. Given the right cat companion, he may begin to feel comfortable but he would much rather be your one and only. Buddy has not been tested with kids. Due to his preference for calm and quiet, he would likely not do well with young kids or a busy home.

When Buddy has settled in, he will show off how sweet and loving he really is. What he wants most is to give all the love he can and be loved! Treats and toys are not currently what love looks like for him. You can instead win him over with the best baby talk. If you are looking at his picture and all you want to do is tell him ohhh you're such a good boy and tell him he is just the most handsome cat of all, he wants to hear from you. Baby talk will make him melt. He will reward you with a revved up motor, and all the intense head boops he can manage. If that sounds like perfection to you, Buddy is your match,
