Iggy is a fancy tuxedo lady who came to SOS after a kind person stepped in when they saw her in a dangerous situation. Thankfully, Iggy made it somewhere safe and despite what she experienced, she hasn’t let it change her opinion of people one bit.

This girl is an absolute snuggle bug.

Iggy is happiest planted firmly on your lap, soaking up as many pets as you’re willing to provide. She is a proficient biscuit maker, an enthusiastic booper of hands, and her little motor is in peak performing condition. She’ll greet you with the sweetest happy trills when she thinks affection is headed her way — and if you weren't actually coming over to pet her, don't worry. She'll come find you instead.

Iggy settled into her foster home remarkably quickly and has done well finding her place among the rest of the crew. She respects the resident cats who prefer their personal space, is unbothered by the dog, and has been gentle and comfortable around the baby in her foster home. Her foster family also reports that she is friendly with strangers and does well with other animals and young children.

More than anything, Iggy is just a gentle, affectionate young lady who really, really loves to be loved. She is easygoing, adaptable, and ready to make herself comfortable wherever her people happen to be.

After a scary beginning, we're pretty happy that Iggy's biggest problem these days is figuring out whose lap she's going to sit on next.
