When I first arrived, I spent my quarantine meowing through the door at the orange tabby next door — just chatting, just being friendly — and the moment that door opened we were immediate best friends. That is simply how I operate. I purr easily, I'll climb into your lap without much convincing, but what I really want — what I'm truly angling for — is your shoulders. That's the spot. That's where I want to be. Consider them claimed.
