Meet Mara 🐾

Mara is a sweet young girl who may be a little shy when you first meet her, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her affectionate personality shines through. She loves rolling around at your feet asking for pets and makes the cutest little meows that are sure to melt your heart.

Mara is great with other cats and is slowly learning that dogs aren’t so scary. She can be nervous around them, but even when frightened, she remains gentle and would much rather find a quiet place to hide than cause any trouble.

She’s also discovering that children can be pretty wonderful! She is slowly becoming more comfortable with calm kids and is beginning to accept gentle pets from them when they give her the time and space she needs.

At bedtime, Mara has decided that the end of the bed is the perfect place to settle in. Of course, sleeping at the foot of the bed comes with an important nightly activity: hunt the moving toes under the blankets! 🐾

Mara is looking for a patient, loving home where she can continue building her confidence and show off the sweet, playful girl she is. Give her a little time, and you’ll have a gentle, affectionate companion who will happily curl up at your feet—and probably keep an eye on those toes! ❤️
