Oscar is a bright orange goofball with all the energy and personality you’d expect from a stereotypical orange cat. He loves to wrestle and play rough with other cats — some enjoy it, some… politely disagree — but Oscar generally gets along well and means no harm. He just has a lot of enthusiasm.
Oscar’s energy level changes depending on the environment. With a big group of cats, he turns into a zooming, meowing little agent of chaos. With just one other cat, he’s still playful but noticeably more relaxed. Because of that, he’d do best in a home that isn’t too chaotic but still gives him an outlet to burn off his energy — ideally with one friendly, playful cat who won’t mind his antics.
He’s very friendly and warms up quickly. He might seem shy for a day, but a few pets and he’s all in. He’s easy to handle and should be fine with kids. Dogs are unknown. Cuddling might not be his main hobby right now, but once he’s tired, he may surprise you.
Oscar is getting dental work in early October and will be ready for adoption near the end of October after his recovery.
If you’re looking for a fun, quirky, high‑energy companion who brings personality and entertainment to your home, Oscar is your guy.
