Quimby is an incredibly sweet, gentle guy who just needs a little time to feel safe before showing you how much love he has to give.

It took him a while to find his confidence in foster care, but these days, with a little encouragement, Quimby comes strolling out with his tail held high, ready for pets. Once you get him started, he rubs and rubs against you asking for more — and if you’re lucky, he’ll even stand up on his hind legs to plant a little kiss on your cheek. 🥹

Quimby is a quiet, reserved cat who we don’t think would enjoy the hustle and bustle of a loud, busy household. His perfect home would be somewhere calm and low-key — a little oasis where he and his person can settle into life together and build a special bond.

He gets along well with other cats and previously lived with a dog, although we don’t know much about that relationship. As with any new furry roommate, slow and thoughtful introductions will help him feel secure.

Quimby may need a little patience while he finds his footing, but underneath that initial shyness is an incredibly affectionate boy who is ready to bond deeply with his person and absolutely shower them with love.
