There are some cats you meet and instantly know they belong together.

Reddington and Dembe are those cats.

These handsome brothers have already had more change in their lives than they deserved. Adopted as kittens from a municipal shelter over 800 kilometres away, they unexpectedly found themselves looking for a new beginning when dental issues led to them being returned through no fault of their own.

When the shelter reached out, we knew we couldn't let their story end there.

The boys made the long trip to Saskatchewan, got the dental care they needed, and have been patiently waiting for someone to see what we see every day: two incredibly sweet, easygoing cats who simply love being together.

They're the kind of boys who make rescue worthwhile. Friendly, affectionate, curious, and wonderfully uncomplicated. They'll happily investigate whatever you're doing, keep each other entertained while you're away, and be waiting for a few head scratches when you get home. Their personalities are as warm as their orange coats.

The best part? They already come with their best friend.

We've watched them lean on each other through every change life has thrown at them, and we can't imagine separating them now. They deserve the stability of a home where they'll never have to wonder what's next again.
