Sora spent nearly a year as a stray in the Wakaw area, waiting for a rescue to give her the chance she’d been hoping for. Today, that patient little survivor is ready to leave her outdoor days behind and find the forever family she’s always deserved.

Cooking supper? She’ll supervise. Folding laundry? She’s got opinions. Watching TV? She’ll happily snuggle up and make sure you don’t get lonely.

Sora is incredibly affectionate and has one of the loudest purrs you’ll ever hear packed into such a tiny body. She’s also delightfully chatty and isn’t shy about telling you exactly what’s on her mind. Whether she’s asking for attention, reminding you it’s dinner time, or simply carrying on a conversation, Sora always has something to say.

She can be a little cautious around loud noises or sudden movements at first, but once she settles into her surroundings, she’s a confident, curious little explorer. She adores treat tubes (Temptations need not apply!) and has a soft spot for people food, so you’ll want to keep a close eye on your kitchen counters—this clever girl is always hoping to sample whatever you’re making.

Sora has also been wonderfully easygoing with the resident cats in her foster home. She greeted everyone with quiet confidence—not a hiss, not a puffed-up tail, just a friendly “hello.” Her laid-back nature suggests she’d likely do well with respectful children and, with proper introductions, would probably adapt nicely to a gentle dog too.

At around one year old, Sora has the perfect balance of playful energy and cuddly companionship. She’s looking for a family who will appreciate her big personality, laugh at her kitchen antics, and happily welcome a tiny shadow who wants to be part of every moment.
