Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs unless SOS approves a suitable young, social and playful cat already in your home. An older resident cat does not automatically qualify.
Fees at partners outside Saskatchewan may differ. SOS assesses each placement individually.
Vera is a little lady with a big journey behind her. This petite mama flew from the far north of Saskatchewan with her seven kittens to join SOS—and we think she’s more than earned her turn at the good life.
Raising seven babies is no small feat, especially for such a tiny girl. Now that her mothering days are behind her, Vera finally has the chance to be someone’s baby and discover a little kittenhood of her own.
Affectionate, gentle, loving, and brave, Vera has already given us plenty to adore. She appreciates a little time to get comfortable with other cats, but with slow introductions and patient reassurance, she settles in wonderfully.
We’re still getting to know all her little quirks, and there’s so much of Vera’s personality left to discover. Her next adventure doesn’t need an airplane—just a loving home where this devoted little mama gets to be the one being fussed over.
