Spirit came to SOS Prairie Rescue through a shelter transfer from The Pas, Manitoba. Unfortunately, we don't know much about her life before rescue, and we're also not entirely sure what inspired her name. That appears to be a question for trusty volunteer Aunty Virna, who occasionally comes up with some wonderfully mysterious naming choices!

Whatever the story behind her name, Spirit has made it very clear who she is. She's a confident, chatty, affectionate girl who absolutely loves being around people. She isn't shy about asking for attention and is always happy to return the favour with plenty of love and affection.

Spirit settled into foster care quickly and has shown herself to be bold, social, and full of personality. She enjoys being involved in whatever you're doing and will happily let you know when she'd like some pets or a conversation.

Spirit will need slow, proper introductions to any resident pets, but she did very well in foster after being given the time and space to adjust. With patience and gradual introductions, she should settle in beautifully.
