Sprocket's story didn't start the way any cat's should.

This handsome orange-and-white boy came to SOS from the Creighton area after spending far too much time fending for himself. Despite having every reason to be cautious, Sprocket has remained incredibly sweet, gentle, and trusting. In fact, one of the first things you'll notice about him is how much he loves attention. A kind word, a gentle pet, or simply being near his people is enough to make his day.

Sprocket is the more outgoing of the two brothers and has embraced rescue life with an open heart. He's the kind of cat who seems genuinely grateful for comfort, regular meals, and a safe place to rest his head. While he's still learning that life can be predictable and kind, he's settling in beautifully and showing us just what a wonderful companion he can be.

Now that the hard part is behind him, Sprocket is ready for the life every cat deserves—a warm home, plenty of love, and a family that will never leave him wondering where his next meal or safe place to sleep will come from.

This gentle soul has been through enough. It's time for his happy ending. 🧡🐾
