Meet Stachio Tom. He came into care as an owner surrender. His owner was unable to care for him properly and reached out for assistance to give him the care and attention he and his little cat family (mom Squishi, and sister Dr. Pepper) deserve. Stachio is by far the most nervous of the group. We suspect he did not have a lot of human interaction. He is gradually coming out of his shell in his foster home and showing who he will be when he is comfortable. We are still getting to know the true Stachio Tom and letting him take his time.

Stachio Tom lives with other cats and is figuring them out. He is still quite nervous and uncertain of them trying to interact with him. He did very well with his family but new cats are taking him more time. With the right cats, slow introductions, and time he will likely get along well with other cats. He has also is living with a dog that he is indifferent about. He would do well with the right dog that respects his space.

Stachio Tom is the kind of cat that requires a human to take time to earn his trust, make him feel comfortable, and show him what the good life is all about. We have no doubt that his true personality is just waiting to break out and shine with time and patience.
