Cola’s journey began on a rural acreage near Parkside, Saskatchewan. She was one of five kittens sheltering alongside her stray mama after the property owner passed away. Wanting a better future for the little family, the owner’s relatives reached out to SOS Prairie Rescue rather than leaving them to survive on their own.

Of all her siblings, Cola was the most frightened. She watched the world from a safe distance, unsure if people could be trusted. But with patience, kindness, and the love of her foster family, she’s made incredible strides.

Today, Cola is a brave, curious young cat whose playful personality shines brighter every day. While she can still be a little shy when meeting someone new, once she feels safe, she becomes an affectionate and loyal companion. She loves following her foster from room to room, enjoys gentle pets, and happily curls up nearby for naps and bedtime snuggles.

Cola thrives with other cats and would love a feline companion in her forever home. She’s also comfortable around gentle dogs and would do well in a calm household willing to give her a little time to settle in.
